Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley square off tonight (Feb. 2) at BHS in the annual "Cake Walk" basketball game.

In the spring of 2000, two students at Bettendorf High School formulated a vision of a club that would help bring Bettendorf students closer together.

With new coach Dave Terronez and the long-time assistant coach Gary Hirsch, the Bettendorf High School Girl's Basketball team has been competing with renewed spirit this season.

The Bettendorf High School Debate team will compete in the district debates February 9-10 in Iowa City.

Recent melting due to the rain and warm temperatures has caused Duck Creek to throw off its shackles of ice. The water has risen and carried off much of the ice that once covered its surface.
