While the Bettendorf boys team was being defeated 51-44 by North Scott at the Lancer gym Friday (Jan. 23), the Bettendorf girls team was beating the North Scott girls. The Bulldog boys team was undefeated and rated number one in Iowa 4A, and North Scott was ranked number two in the state poll heading into the MAC showdown. The Bettendorf girls moved a game over .500 with the win over North Scott, while the boys team is now in a three-way tie for the conference title with North Scott and Pleasant Valley.
