Two of the many youth soccer teams in the Bettendorf Park Board league play a game Sunday afternoon at Crow Creek Park. The beautiful new soccer fields are well-used during the both the spring and fall soccer seasons.
The Bettendorf Bulldogs kick-off to the Pleasant Valley Spartans to start the 2003 season Friday night (9/5) at TouVelle Stadium. The Bulldogs rallied late in the fourth period with two scores and a safety to defeat the Spartans 19-7. Pleasant Valley outrushed the Bulldogs and held a 7-3 halftime lead.
