Prior to the Bettendorf-Pleasant Valley football game Friday night, a special time of reflection was held to remember those who died in the terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C. After a moment of silence, the high school band and chorus led the crowd in the our national anthem and "God Bless America."
Bettendorf won the game 34-0 to bring its record to 3-0 in the MAC. The Pleasant Valley Spartans fell to 1-2 on the season.
