The Bettendorf Park Board recently held a public hearing on plans for development of a new 4-acre neighborhood park, north of Field Sike Drive, in the ValleyWynds subdivision. The land was donated to the city as part of the subdivision development, and the park board has budgeted $275,000 for the project. Work is expected to begin next summer with completion in the fall of 2007.
